Movie Review: The Legend of Hercules

First of all, thanks to Churp Churp, I got a pair of churpremiere tickets of The Legend of Hercules! Awesome!!

I love fantasy movie, like always. I was excited to watch The Legend of Hercules. But to be honest, I think this movie was just so so... Didn't surprise me through the end. They could find better actors and actresses to play any role of the film.

When the part Hercules calls for his father Zeus for help, the lighting some kind of "connected to his sword, his hand is so awkward and stiff... Princess Hebe is a pretty lady, I think she would be better to be cover of any magazine.

Good thing about the film is... still better than budget movie. And the fights are good! I'm sorry but I was expected way too much for this movie fml.

If you are the type of people that fancy of super hot bulky men's body, go watch!

Philips Soundshooter Bluetooth Wireless Portable Speaker

aka my Grenade!

I've always wanted to have a protable speaker especially with the Bluetooth connection! Finally I got one from a store called Connect in Mid Valley.

Its interesting grenade shape has caught my attention and despite its sound system and its Bluetooth connection have no problem at all after tested it with sales assistant, I was still hesitate and a little bit doubt until the sales assistant said it has built-in microphone which allows you to answer phone calls! So... I bought it home.

The thing I love the most about this Philips Bluetooth wireless speaker is that it is so tiny that you can grab it in your single palm and it is so light that you might wonder if it was a toy. After a week I bought it, I accidentally dropped it on the floor but mehh... I wasn't worry as much as I drop my phone because it has protection from its rubber covering!

Oh I almost forgot the most important thing, the Bluetooth. That's the main point I bought the speaker. I was so amazed by its speed of its connection to my phone! Since they got paired, every time I turn on Bluetooth on both speaker and my phone, they are automatically connected and it is so fast, like *snap on the fingers!

After they are connected, there you go to enjoy your music! The songs play from the speaker is nice, as I mentioned that I have test the speaker but what I didn't mention is I have tested another Bluetooth speaker, but I immediately rejected because their left and right stereo are not balance. Philips Bluetooth wireless speaker has no prob with that!

See that button beside the brand's name 'PHILIPS'? The one surrounded with blue light circle? You can press it whether to play or pause your song, and if somebody call you while your phone is connected with the speaker, you can answer the phone call by pressing the button too! How cool is that?!

Another great thing is, you can connect Philips Bluetooth wireless speaker to non Bluetooth devices as well! By switch to the AUX and connect the cable to your device and enjoy your music!

Now you may ask about the battery... Purrhh! There is rechargeable battery which I heard can last 8 hours once it is fully charged. Hmm... I doubt that, from my experience, I think it can last longer! I got excited when I bought it so I kept using it for a week and it is 'alive'!

Y'know how cool the old school boombox street was? Good news for those boombox street hipster wannabe, carry the heavy boombox on the shoulder like this cool dude is over!

Philips Bluetooth wireless speaker provides a clip which you can effortlessly hang it on your pants' belt loop and you 'll be the new generation of 'soundshooter street'!
*Yea, I don't know what the hell I'm talking about too! Teehee!

Ok ok, despite all these great things about this speaker, I would like to talk about the things that didn't reach my expectations.

First, the bass. I was expecting it will have more bass so that the music sounds better and the stronger bass the music has, maybe my grenade can move like it is dancing wtf!

Second, it is loud, which is a good thing. Just that it doesn't have a volume control on itself, what you have to do is control the volume on whatever device you connect to it.

But I think I like it that way, add on the volume controller will just mess up its simple design.

It comes with variety colors for you to choose your favourite!

I chose this dirt green color because I want the original grenade color hahaha!
It is available in most of the iPad and Ipod stores, and electronic stores as well like Harvey Norman, it costs about RM149 each. Go and grab one, boys and girls!

I recorded a video for it by using Instavideo.
So wait no more!
Ladies and gentlemen, let's hear my grenade playing the song, grenade!

Sylvester's first exam results

My youngest and cutest brother, Sylvester, got his kindergarten exams results...
My sister tagged me on this photo in Facebook today.
I was like " AWWW! The first time he had exams and look at all the marks he got! "

Just in time I was going to have tears, I saw my sister's comment and said he admits he copied his classmate's answers wtf! HAHAHA
I immediately FaceTime my brother and asked him about it and he acted no ashame about what he did on his exam papers answers.

Me: Why did you look at someone else's answer?

Syl: Because I didn't know the answers ma...

Me: But you shouldn't look at other people's answer during exams even though you do not know the answers, because it is not good, it is against the exam's rules

Syl: Ohh...

All of a sudden I loved the way I educate my little brother and how he actually listened.

Me: How did you see your friend's answer?

Syl: Use eyes la!

......Ahh... my bad.

Pee Mak Phra Khanong

Seriously, take all the scary moments like an excitement. But I laughed so hard from the beginning of the story I think I've developed some abs!

It's not as really scary as the original movie they had adapted,Mae Nak, did I mentioned one of my favorite directors Banjong Pisanthanakun? He has directed my favorite movies like Shutter, 4bia and Hello Stranger! Pee Mak is a horror comedy yet also a romantic film!

For those who don't know me, I'm very sentimental. I cried over variety kinds of movie as long as there's a small short touching scene. I even cried when I watched <Brides War> by Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson, awww.

I can't remember when and what was the last movie I've cried over, but...
I cried a lot at the end of Pee Mak. How beautiful their love story is when Mak said he is not stupid enough until he didn't know his own wife who he'd spending with is dead! He threw his Buddha necklace into the river and ate dried leaves with worms to pretent that he didn't know about her death just wanted to spend more times with his ghost wife!

My eyes started tear up as I'm thinking about it now awww.
That Mak-hold-Nak-in-his-arm-firmly-screamed-and-cried scene :'(

I know a lot of you would say you will not go in cinema to get frighten but trust me, it's more into comedy. If I get invited to watch again... for free, I wouldn't mind at all!

Luki

Hi new blog! I should give you a nickname so that you don't sound so lame. Luki then :)

I blogged for quite some times since 2006, http://kokhuamoment.blogspot.com

I was 16 years old and I still remember I was telling all my friends to have a blog because it is really fun! Some of them did blog but not as active as I did. Some of our blog was like a place to express our feeling, and it ended up like gossip girl but not that far yet, it's like our class "politics" news site. You know, secondary school students, we all young and naive, and friendships were like the whole thing. The worst I have encountered is I blogged bad things about a mathematics teacher... Really straight forward, it was quite hurtful to read, and the teacher found out and talked about it in the class few days later. But she wasn't tell it was me. Haha! It's worth to flip back some memories.

Trust me, I created you pretty long ago, but I just didn't know what can I define you is about.

Are you a food lover?

Are you a traveler?

Are you my diary?

Do you create stories?

Do you speak movies?

Who am I? I've been questioning myself this question for years, and I will discover myself more in the coming days. I think this is what I need Luki to be.

Being yourself is one of the most incredible happiness in the entire universe. But it might be one of the most challenging parts in your life.
